Scott + Gale (Los Angeles Temple) Wedding Photographer LDS

Scott and Gale were married on November 28, 2009 in the LDS Los Angeles Temple. I really enjoyed being a part of their wedding. Scott's mom is one of my very close friends. There wedding day was full of energy and there was a lot to photograph, including Gale's amazing dress which she designed and helped to make. I loved it! It was two pieces; the dress, and then a jacket which had hand sewn flowers and feathers, lots of feathers. Gale also created her own headpiece. To me, her wedding dress and veil had a fun Audrey Hepburn feel to it.

Both Gale and Scott are TALL, very TALL. They towered over me. Gale is nearly 6 feet and Scott was 6.6 feet!!! My ladder came in handy a few times. I was grateful that I had it!!!

There were energetic nieces and nephews to photograph and have fun with too. Kids always bring real emotion in front of your lens, it makes for adventure.

Dreaming. . . one day!

Hip, hip, hooray!

I loved Gale's bouquet, the feathers added depth and interest. And of course, I always LOVE lime green.

Scott and mom, my very fun friend!

Gale's mom flew in from Ohio where she teaches school; and Gale's sister came from Arizona where she works as a nurse. They sure all look alike!!!

Big Brother advice.

The sky was absolutely amazing.

The reception was at Scott's parents home. Their backyard was turned into an amazing outdoor dining room surrounded by a garden. The catering was by Generation Events. I have worked with them many times now and I love their food. Always unique to each individual wedding they are hired for. Scott and Gale's was no exception with Prime Rib!

I loved the wedding cake too, which was done by Pastries by Nancy. It was three layers of AMAZING cake, my favorite was the Red Velvet. Gale was involved and the decorator of the cake, too. She made all of the mushrooms that decorated it from meringue. They were OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!!

The rain made its presence just before cutting the cake. Scott and Gale didn't even let it bother them. Out came a big beach umbrella and the cake cutting began. . .

Thank you, Scott and Gale for letting me be apart of your Great Day!
