Dominic + Amy = Meet The Bohne's (San Clemente, California) Orange County Wedding Photographer

Dominic and Amy got married on a Hawaiian beach with a small group of family and friends.  Two weeks later, on May 29th 2010, John and I along with Hillary Miller, a very fun family friend shooting video, had the privilege of shooting their wedding reception in San Clemente, California.

Dom and Amy were fun to spend the day with and get to know.  Amy is from San Clemente and Dom is from Utah where they met.  Amy just graduated in Architecture from the University of Utah and Dominic runs his own business in Utah called And. . .Go! Improv Comedy.  He is also attending college and will soon have a degree in Public Relations.  Dominic told me that his parents now live in Alaska, of course I said where?  His reply, "Kenai, Alaska."  That made me laugh, because that was the town I graduated from high school.  I grew up in a small town 11 miles away called Soldotna.

Dom and Amy were tons of fun, and full of smiles and love for each other was radiant
The day was perfect with blue, blue skies and clean ocean air.

I can see the improv talent.

I loved Dom's boutonniere.

My favorite shot.

The girls.

The guys.

A bouquet knock-out, score 1 for Amy!

The reception was catered by Generations Events.  I absolutely LOVED the coconut rice!  I do say I want the recipe.

Amy's grandpa brought his fun 1950's car for picture taking.

Not hard to see the fun here!

The dessert bar.

Thanks Amy & Dominic for letting us be a part of your day.

Happy Birthday & Father's Day to Kerry Back Home in ALASKA - Alaska, Fishing, Destination Photographer

On June 20th my brother Kerry will have another birthday!   I wish I could be there to help celebrate his big day, for it will not only be his Birthday, but Father's Day as well.  Kerry will probably be on the river ready to catch a BIG KING SALMON.  If your looking for a fishing buddy, he's your guy!!!

If I had to describe my brother in just a few words it would be - his family and the great outdoors.  We grew up in Alaska and what great memories I have of that time.  Kerry's love for fishing goes WAY back.  In fact, I can't remember a time when he wasn't passionate about fishing.  He used to take me with him sometimes.  I loved lure hunting!  Being with Kerry meant you were going on an adventure. . . an adventure in Alaska's outdoors.

Our Family before Lisa was born.

Me and my big brothers.  I wonder what Kearlee Ray did to his right eye?

I'm wandering which one caught the KING, Kearlee Ray or Kerry?

Alaska's great wildlife.

Did you know you had Alaska in your pocket?

Three of Kerry's four:  Mandi, Jenna and Steven.

Alaska has beautiful flowers too.

Dad came with us ocean fishing for silver salmon.  This was a GREAT Day, I caught SIX!!!

One of our silvers out of Seward, Alaska.

One of Kerry's silver's!  Wait, maybe this one was Steven's.

Our Catch of the Day in Seward Alaska!!!

Did you ever wonder where the fish guts go?  It smelt as bad as it looks!!!

Kerry and the mighty Kenai!

How many pounds is this one?  Is it a keeper?

I think I want Steven's job.
