Ray + Kristin (Lytle, Creek) Wedding Photographer

Ray and Kristin both work for the United States Forest Service as Wildland Firefighters. They are very busy keeping us safe in the city of Los Angeles and I find there jobs interesting.

They met at work in the winter of 2009. Their story goes like this . . . at first we really didn't seem to like each other all that much, though once we started talking more we realized we lived around the block from each other, so carpooling sounded smart. Through carpooling, we realized we had A LOT in common. One day, while doing morning chores, Ray watched Kristin tell a story to the guys and thought to himself, I can see myself marrying that girl. We then started hanging out after work by going to the movies and playing Guitar Hero. After a weekend trip to Las Vegas for Kristin's birthday, we became inseparable. Three month's later on July 10, 2009, Ray popped the Big Question, but not before getting Kristin's parents blessing. Now that is a real gentleman in my book!

Ray's plan was to ask Kristin to marry him, after dinner with her, at her parent's home. This way, Bob and Kelley could be involved too. It went like this . . . Ray put together a slideshow of pictures of previous outings they had been on together and at the end of it, he included a video of himself telling Kristin how he felt about her and that he wanted to marry her. As the slideshow came to an end and the video part of Ray's feelings started, Ray kneeled down on one knee with a gorgeous engagement ring in hand. Kristin of course with tears in her eyes said YES!!!

Ray and Kristin were married on March 21, 2010 at Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek.

Brianna Ruben from Tangles Salon did Kristin's Hair and make-up. I loved it!

My favorite shot of the day.

There always needs to be an off-the-wall shot!

The surroundings were peaceful.
Their love for each other was strong.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Rameriz!

Kristin had fun details included at her wedding. I loved her flowers which were done at Tutta Bella Florist. I loved these floral trees. And Kristin's cake was from Cucamonga Cakery Co.

I love this shot too.

When Ray and his two sisters were quite young, their mother passed away from cancer. They were lovingly raised by their grandmother and Aunt Mary. During the parent dance at the reception, Ray danced with his Aunt Mary. This was such a touching moment for me because in the background of the dance floor, a projected slide of Ray's mom, Rachael could be seen, as Ray danced with his Aunt. Love was felt by all.
Ray and Kristin had a fun activity at the reception for their guests. Jake Dorman at Photo Booth for Parties provides this service. The guests had tons of fun using this mobile photo booth. I would highly recommend this service for anyone out there looking for something new and different.
